Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the urology, namely to the method for the differential diagnosis of prostatic hyperplasia and prostatic cancer comprising the assessment of the clinical and anamnestic as well as sonographic data, the assay for total prostate-specific antigen in the blood, and the estimation of the coefficients of diagnostic parameters using the differential diagnostic table. When the sum of the diagnostic coefficients is +130 and more, the prostatic hyperplasia is diagnosed. When the sum of the diagnostic coefficients is -130 and less, the cancer of prostate is evident.
