Zusammenfassung:	A method for reprocessing sludges being formed in the baths of the pieces galvanic hot chroming involves sludges predrying and subsequent utilization. The liquid fraction of chrome in the form of chromic and chrome acids is extracted from chroming sludges, and for this purpose the sludges are mixed in water, and thereafter settled for 2-3 days. The solution settled from the heavy metals deposit isdecanted and used for addition to the hot chroming working bath. After predrying the deposit is transferred to the chemically inert state being harmless for the environment.
