Zusammenfassung:The hip hinge comprises upper and lower disk-shaped units connected by the axis with the bearing and the transition sector enabling the angular displacements relative to the upper unit and allowing for right-side or left-side positioning relative to the common axis of the hinge. The surface of the transition sector is rigidly connected with the rest for adjusting the extension angles. The projections of the openings contain the markings of the angular extension values. The transition sector with the stop screw is attached to the upper unit. The number of the openings in the transition sector equals the number of the openings in the upper unit minus one. The design allows for precise and operative adjustment of the extension angles in the hip hinge. The hip hinge may be used as the right-side or left-side orthesis in the patients with the serious pathologies in the hip joint.
