Zusammenfassung:Method for working-out edge zone of iron-ore pits includes formation and slope formation of terraces, with drilling vertical explosion wells of slope formation with following explosion, extraction of detached rocks with open-pit mechanical shovel. In the process of slope formation along the designed plane of the slope of terraces in the band of slot-formation one drills the last row of vertical contour wells at distance (m) from the upper edge of the intact massif, near the last row of contour wells in direction to worked-out space one forms rows of additional vertical wells in band with width (m). Distance and distance are determined by formulas. Decrease of labor consumption at rock extraction is achieved.
