Zusammenfassung:Proposed is a method for the preparation of aryl sulfonamides of the general formula of RSO2NHArR'(I) based on 6-methyl-2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine-5-sulfochloride and primary amines of aromatic series, where R is residue of 6-methyl-2,4- dihydroxypyrimidine with sulphonamide group in the position of 5;Ar is the residue of benzene; R' = alkyl (C1-C6), alkoxy, carboxy, alkoxy carbonyl, halogen, nitro, trifluoromethyl, dialkylamino, sulphonamido and other functional groups. Sulphonamides can find application as biologically active sulphonamide agents against staphylococci, colon bacillus, dysentery and etc. Sulfochlorides interact with amines in aqueous solution or organic solvent.
