RAILROAD ADJUSTABLE PAIR OF WHEELS

Invention relates to the railroad transport facilities, which move on the tracks of different width. The railroad adjustable pair of wheels contains axle, mobile wheels and control mechanism of the position of wheels on the axle. Said mechanism is equipped with two groups of inertia reversible facilities located in the radial openings inside the wall of wheel. Each of said facilities is executed in the form of spring-loaded load moving along radial opening connected with rack-toothed gear. In the facilities of one group the rack-toothed gear is connected with the press shoe mounted with possibility of interaction with the axle, and in the facilities of other group - with the final catch of the position of railroad wheel on the axle, which is mounted with possibility of entry into appropriate annular groove of trapezoidal profile executed on the axle. Invention allows to increase safety of motion and to decrease the transfer time of the transport facilities to the track of another width.
