Zusammenfassung: | The proposed method for measuring distance by the maximum of a correlation function and a device for the realization of the method consists in generating a signal that is frequency modulated by a sine signal with frequency ?, dividing the modulated signal by two component signals, of which one signal that is used as a sounding signal is transmitted into the ambient space and the other signal is delayed by a specified delay time and shifted in frequency by value Wr, multiplying the delayed and shifted in frequency signal by one of the component signals that are obtained by dividing the reflected signal, which is shifted in time by an interval of ? relative to the sounding signal, into two equal component signals, isolating, from the signal that presents the result of the multiplication, thesignal with frequency Wr that corresponds to the cross-correlation function of the sounding signal and the reflected signal, dividing this signal into two equal component signals, on of which is delayed by interval ?1 and multiplied by the second component signal, isolating a sine signal with frequency ? and time shift ? - ? from the signal that presents the result of the multiplication, performing the amplitude detection of the isolated signal and adjusting the time delay ? - ?0 - ? so that the amplitude of this signal decreases to zero, dividing the second component signal, which was obtained after dividing the reflected signal, into two signals, one of which is shifted in frequency by value Wr, delayed by the time interval that is equal to the time constant of the signal receiver, and multiplied by the second signal, isolating the signal with frequency Wr that corresponds to the autocorrelation function of the said component reflected signal, performing the synchronous detection of the said isolated signal while using, as the reference signal, the signal with frequency Wr that is delayed by time interval ?2, isolating the signal that corresponds to the sounding signal modulated in amplitude, adjusting time delay ? - ?0 - ? so as to provide the maximal value of the signal that corresponds to the autocorrelation function, and determining the target range by the equation B = c??0/2, where c is the velocity of light. The present invention provides a possibility to increase accuracy in measuring distance. |
