Zusammenfassung:The proposed method of multiprobe neutron logging for determining the porosity and feature of saturation of a collector consists in sounding rocks by fast neutron flux, determining the recording rate of slow neutrons at two different sounding distances, and calculating the porosity of the collector from the ratio between the said frequencies. To determine the feature of the collector saturation, above-thermal neutrons are recorded at the same sounding distances and in the same conditions as slow neutrons. For each sounding distance, the difference between the recording rates of slow and above-thermal neutrons as well as the ratio of the above-thermal neutron recording frequency to the said frequency difference is determined. These ratios are used to determine the degree of mineralization of fluid when the collector porosity is known. The device for realization of the method contains a stationary fast neutron source, two slow neutron detectors that are located at different distances from the neutron source, and an above-thermal neutron detector. The above-thermal neutron detector is are arranged on the side relative to the neutron source that is opposite to the side where the slow neutron detectors are arranged, with the same distance as the distances between the corresponding slow neutron detectors. The present invention provides the possibility to increase the sensitivity of measurements in logging.
