Zusammenfassung: | The technique for estimating the plantar pressure under the foot comprises obtaining the primary data pertaining to the plantar pressure, inputting the data into the computer, processing the information and presenting the colored map of the plantar pressure using the different colors and the shades. Then the problematic areas in the support area of the whole feet are detected. The primary information on the distribution of the plantar pressure is represented as the pattern of the holes varied in diameter depending on the distribution of the weight of the patient. The holes are scanned and this data are input. The scanned picture is processed using the program for processing the raster images. First, the positions of the hole traces are recognized by the first calculator. The information is transferred to the second calculation for estimating the diameters of the holes. Then in each point relative to the weight distribution of the patient, the absolute and relative pressure values are calculated, the absolute area of the holes is also calculated. The possible uncertainties due to the deformities of the edges of the holes are eliminated with the aid of the interactive correction module. The areas obtained are compared with the calibration data stored in the memory of computer. The pressure is interpolated throughout the surface. The map is displayed and the reference areas are delineated. The comparator finally aligns the map with the contours of the foot according to the individual data of the patient. |
