TORCH FOR SHIELDED ARC WELDING

Invention concerns welding engineering, in particular, devices for gas-shielded consumable electrode welding. The torch for shielded arc welding contains housing, channels of gas supply and electrode wire, conductor and mechanism of its fastening. Feed unit of electrode wire contains broaching head and electric motor with hollow shaft, which are mounted in the center section of the bearing component of the housing - longitudinal current-conducting lathes, on edges of which front and rear flanges are fixed, in this case front flange is connectedwith the insulating flange, on which the electric contacts and the spring-loaded lever with a finger are fixed, which performs electric control and adjusts gas supply creating a squeezing valve together with the rubber tube connecting the fitting of introduction of shielding gas, which is connected with the nozzle through the channel executed in the body of front flange. The torch is characterized by technological effectiveness of application, mobility, which is especially important for welding during assembly, simplicity of adjustment that allows to save gas and electrode wire.
