Zusammenfassung:	A method for preparing marketable electrode pitches by two-stage thermal treatment in delivery of pitch air at the temperature of softening not more than 60 DEGREE C. According to the invention at the first stage of the pitch thermal treatment 2/3 of air amount to the specified one, at the second stage 1/3 of air amount to the specified amount is delivered, the obtained high-temperature pitch is mixed with previously refined turbulized high-boiling distillate fraction, at that consumption of high-boiling distillate fraction is equal to 100-250 kg per 1 ton depending on pitch grade being obtained and quality pitch and distillate fraction to be mixed.
