Zusammenfassung:A lime curing shaft furnace has a lined case as two cut cones, conicity of the upper one is 1:10, and the lower one 1:4; the upper cone of the case is with the larger base connected to the smaller base of the lower cone, with placed in the plane of connection of those annealing burners; unloading, burner, gas-conduction and air-conduction equipment. The furnace is additionally equipped with the heating burners, those are placed over the annealing burners by 0,4 Dfl, where Dfl û diameter of the plane of placement on the annealing burners. At thehearth of the unloading unit, at the centre of the furnace, recuperator for air heating is placed, this is arranged as a metal lined cone with conicity 1:5, with openings placed at distance 0.65-0.70 H from the plane of the larger base of the lower cone, where H is the distance of the place of installation of the annealing burners from the same plane; at that the diameter of the openings of the recuperator is equal to 0.80-0.85 of the minimal dimension of the CaCO3 particles. Total cross-section area of all the openings is equal to the area of the horizontal cross-section of the recuperator in the upper part with diameter "b", it is calculated. The furnace provides decrease of expenses for lime curing.
