Zusammenfassung:The method for preventing the secondary caries provides for the hygienic cleaning of the restored teeth, the preparation of the caries cavity, and theapplication of Opti Guard (Kerr) coating protective system onto the restored surface. Prior to restoration, the hygienic index Green Vermillion is assessed. The frequency of the repeated surface sealing depends on the value of the hygienic index: only single sealing in the day of treatment when the index is below 1.3, the annual sealing when the index is within 1.4-1.9, and twice a year when the index exceeds or equals 2.0.
