Zusammenfassung:	A method for obtaining an alternative fuel for diesel engines involves carrying out reaction of alcohol with vegetable oil, catalyst and subsequent purification. The initial product is ethyl alcohol being first dried. The dried ethyl alcohol is mixed with vegetable oil in the presence of catalyst, and reaction is performed at the temperature of alcohol boiling for 8-12 hours. The ethyl alcohol excess is distilled. Obtained nonvolatile ethylic ethers of fatty acids of vegetable oil are washed with water and dried.
