Zusammenfassung:	The present invention can be used in transmitters of radar systems, communication systems, radio-relay links, and other systems with frequency modulation. The proposed power amplifier with the discrete control of the output signal level contains a preamplifier, an attenuator, an output amplifier, a band-pass filter, a coupler, a divider, an automatic output power regulator, a control unit, and an integrator. The input of the integrator is connected to the output of the automatic power regulator, and the output is connected to the control input of the attenuator. The present invention provides a possibility to reduce interferences occurring in unwanted modulation of carrier frequency that is caused by the amplitude-and-phase conversion of signals in the amplifier.
