Zusammenfassung:	A method of limiting the number and harmfulness of lepidopterous pests provides treatment of agricultural plants with biological means. As a biological means, used is a specialized species of the Trichogramma genus, Trichogramma pintoi Voeg., rates, terms and repetition of release of which is determined by means of using a species-specific feromone traps for monitoring pests. Also used is the viral _nsecticidal preparation Virin ÄS or a bacterial one, Bitoxybacillin. In doing so Trichogramma pintoi is used at the beginning of egg laying of the pests, ánd biopreparations in the period of mass reappearance of caterpillars of lepidopterous pests.
