Zusammenfassung:	The method for predicting the heart failure in the patients with acute myocardial infarction provides for the clinical assessment of the patient upon admission to the hospital, echocardiography and the biochemical study throughout the first week upon admission to the hospital, and the estimation of the functional state of the heart and its neurohumoral activation. The diastolic blood pressure is measured and the age of the patient is taken into account. The end-diastolic volume of the left ventricle is used as the parameter of the functional state of the heart. The neurohumoral activation is assessed taking into account blood plasma content of brain natriuretic peptide and noradrenalin.
