Zusammenfassung:The proposed method for monitoring engineering process variables consists in periodically measuring each process variable within each monitoring cycle, storing the measured process variable values, checking the serviceability of the process variable detectors and their wiring, verifying the process variable values during the measurements, generating and storing the flag code of each process variable, storing the current value of each process variable, if the check results are positive, or the value measured within the preceding monitoring cycle, if the check results are negative, as the true process variable value, comparing the current flag code of each process variable with the flag code determined within the preceding monitoring cycle, and determining the conformity or nonconformity of the process with specified requirements depending on the results of the said comparison. The monitoring is accomplished with consideration for allowable limit changes of the state of the process and the allowable limit values of each process variable.
