Zusammenfassung:The method for assessing the length of the tumor field in cancer of the upper airways provide for computed X-ray tomography. The histographic analysis of tumor structure, tumor field and adjacent non-affected tissues is performed alongside the line drawn from the center of the tumor employing the aperture with the area of 0.5-0.7 cm2. The length of the tumor field is estimated by the minimal distance between the aperture centers of the unimodal histograms characteristic of affected and non-affected tissue.
