Zusammenfassung:A potato planter of the elevator type is equipped by a rod (15), mounted on a frame (14) of a chain-drive, at the end circular area of the ascending part of the chain, transversally to the direction of longitudinal axis thereof, on the side, which is opposite to a bunker (2), in such a manner as to allow interaction of free end thereof with rollers(18) of the chain while it moves. The length of the rod is accepted based on the condition that free end thereof is placed between two straight lines, one of which (16), on the side of arrangement of the rod, connects the parts of rings (10) of the chain, which are the closest to longitudinal axis thereof, and the other (17) is a tangent to the rollers (18) of the chain, on the side of the arrangement of the rod.
