Zusammenfassung: | The method for recovering the functions of the fingers in the case of the damaged deep branch of the radial nerve comprises the dissection of the tendon of extensor carpi radialis longus muscle proximally to its attachment site followed by its sewing with the tendons of the extensor digitorum (2, 3, 4, 5) muscle. The tendon of flexor carpi radialis muscle is also dissected proximally to its attachment site and passed through the preformed subcutaneous canal to the back side of the forearm followed by its sewing with the tendons of the extensor pollicis longus muscle. The tendon of the long palmar muscle is dissected in the area of the radiocarpal joint, transferred to the dorsal side of the forearm and sewed with the tendons of the abductor pollicis longus muscle and the extensor pollicis brevis muscle at the site located 2-3 cm proximal to the dorsal ligament. |
