Zusammenfassung:Method for manufacturing the forging heads of heat-resistant alloy, mainly for radial-forging machines, including the producing of the cast billet, thermal and mechanical treatment and treatment of the working surface of the head by plasma flow. According to the invention, at treatment of the working surface by plasma flow the layer of metal at the depth of 4-8 mm is melted down, in this case the treatment is carried out from the centre of working surface to the periphery, evenly in different directions increasing the area of the workable section, and after plasma treatment the section of heat is aligned, removing from its the surface the layer of metal with thickness not more than 1 mm.
