Zusammenfassung:The method for the surgical treatment of the ischemic form of the diabetic foot syndrome consists in the autovenous popliteal-inframalleolar by-passing to the dorsal artery of the foot. With this aim in view, the canal is cut in the upper third of tibia with the medial opening to the popliteal fossa and the lateral one û to the anterior fascial space of the shin at the acute angle to the axis of tibia. Once the distal anostomosis is generated, it is passed under the skin and the fascia within the anterior fascial space and further with the aid of the metal guide through the bone canal to the popliteal fossa where the proximal anastomosis is finally arranged.
