COMBINED ORTHODONTIC DEVICE

The combined orthodontic device contains the metal crowns for the provisional lower molars with the soldered horizontal tubes and the removable vestibular arch attached with the aid of the tubes. Furthermore, the device contains the lingual arch and two additional crowns for the first permanent molars. The lingual arch is made from the orthodontic wire d=0.8 mm. The shape of the lingual arch follows the shape of the lower dental arch and possesses one U-shaped active flexure in the center. The side parts of the arch flexed vertically before the crowns of the second provisional lower molars in the shape of the loop, then the arch runs horizontally and is rigidly attached to the metal crowns from the lingual surface and the approximate-medial surface of the crowns of the second provisional lower molars. The metal crowns are soldered pairwise. The vestibular arch represents two vertical U-shaped loops made from the orthodontic wire d=1.0 mm with the straight lateral horizontal taps inserted into the horizontal tubes.
