Zusammenfassung:	A method for controlling the specific load in the oncoming and leaving branches of the deceleration band of a band-shoe brake of a drill hoist includes determining of the ratio of coefficients of mutual overlapping, this is characterized by the areas of overlapping of the onlays for the oncoming and leaving branches of the band of the brake pulley working surface. By the ratios found one determines the number by which the number of the onlays in the oncoming branch is to be larger in comparison to the number of those in the leaving branch.
