MODULAR HOPPER-CAR

A modular hopper-car containing a body of drop-shaped form with loading hatches on the roof and unloading hatchways on the bottom of hoppers. Power frame is equipped with reinforced extensions to the level of coupling girders with the bearings. Hook devices and absorbing apparatuses are fastened on the reinforced extensions, and between themselves the reinforced extensions are rigidly connected by the strapping of sidewalls of frame fastened between them by T-shaped transverse partitions. Power frame is made with angular type lightened strapping. In this case angular type lightened strapping is rigidly connected with the compartments and the hoppers forming a closed contour reinforced by T-shaped type cross beams connected with distributing walls of compartments that are equipped with windows for free displacement from the compartment into the compartment of bulk cargo.
