The method involves treatment of tools in nitrogen-based plasma of gas discharge which is provided in the permanent magnetic field which lines of force are concentrated in the interelectrode gap and penetrated through the opposite electrode surfaces and supply the negative potential to the tool - 400...-2000 V related to the body. The invention provides increasing of endurance of hardmetal tool with decreasing the power-consuming of its fabrication.
