Zusammenfassung:The method for generating low colorectal anastomosis in resecting the rectum in the patients with cancer of low ampullary area comprises descending the sigmoid colon down to the rectal stump extending beside the draining tube with accompanying invagination of the rectal stump to its downstream segment and fixation at this position with the provisory holding sutures. If the stump is short for invaginating the anastomosis the ligatures are applied in the area of attachment of the muscles of the pelvic bottom.
