A FEEDER

The invention relates to the industry of construction materials, in particular to equipment of plants for manufacturing the mineral fiber. The feeder from fireproof material for producing fibre of silicate melts contains bushing plate of width B, margins and current contacts. The upper and lower surfaces of the bushing plate is made with a curvature of different radii to the side of contact with melt. At that the upper surface has a radius of curvature R1, being equal to 1.0-1.3 of width B, and lower surface made with the radius of curvature R2, being equal to 1.35-1.5 of width B. The proposed construction of the feeder increases life duration thereof.
