Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the method for preventing and treating the diseases of the backbone. The method comprises at least one session consisting in the fixation of the upper and lower parts of the patient's body and the static traction with the longitudinal fluctuation of the traction force. The head, the upper and lower parts of the patient's body are fixed and the static load is applied to the cervical area of the backbone. The traction force is fluctuated in longitudinal direction. The device for preventing and treating the diseases of the backbone comprises the base, the first platform for the upper part of the body, the second platform for the lower part of the body, the fixation appliances, the means for fluctuation of the traction force, and the drive with the motor and the output shaft. The first platform is fastened rigidly on the base and contains the appliances for the fixation of the head and the upper part of the patient's body.
