Zusammenfassung: | The proposed method for measuring and monitoring gas volume at a gas main pipeline section involves measuring, within specified time intervals, gas temperatures and flow rates at the initial and end points of the main gas pipeline section, recording the measured values of these parameters, and measuring the absolute density of the transported gas by using measuring transducers or laboratory instruments. The gas pressure, temperature, and flow rate are averaged over a period from the preceding measurement of gas volume to the current instant. From these parameters, the current gas volume and its variation over a specified period are determined. The resulting values of gas volume and its variation are used for estimating the efficiency of the gas main pipeline operation. Additionally, the gas volume variations are used for determining leakage or unauthorized consumption of gas at the monitored gas main pipeline section. |
