METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF INORGANIC PHOSPHATE-CONTAINING IONITES

A method for obtaining the inorganic phosphate-containing ionites includes reaction during mixing of the solution of phosphoric acid and/or its salt with the solution of salts of elements generating phosphates insoluble in the water, in the presence of the additives retarding the reaction of gel formation, dispersion of reaction mixture with formation of the spherical granules of gel, washing of granules and their drying out. At least one compound of trivalent metals is used as additive retarding the reaction of gel formation. At least one element of the group IV and/or V is used as element generating phosphates insoluble in the water. Granules of hydrogel before and/or after washing can be subjected to chemical and/or to hydrothermal processing. The invention ensures simplification and increase of productivity of technology of the production of ionites of high strength, wear resistance of granules, increased porosity and sorption capacity with respect to the cations of heavy metals and radionuclides.
