Zusammenfassung:	The proposed process for determining the progression of initial evidences of diabetic nephropathy consists in providing the standard clinical research of the patient, analyzing the blood serum or the urine of the patient, and determining the indicators that characterize the destructive changes of the kidney endothelium such as the activity of endothelial elastase and the activity of endothelial metaelastase. The destructive changes at the diabetic nephropathy are diagnosed if the activity of the endothelial elastase increases more than 9 times, the activity of the metaelastase in the blood serum increases 2 ... 4 times, and the activity of the metaelastase does not change.
