Zusammenfassung:A method for the surgical treatment of the chronic odontogenic maxillary sinusitis comprises the maxillary sinusotomy, the sanitization of the maxillary sinus providing the outflow of the exudates, the mobilization of the mucous-periosteal flap, and closing of the wound. When maxillary sinusotomy isperformed, the puncture opening is generated with the aid of Kulikovsky's needle with the plastic catheter. The needle is then removed, and the catheter is used for postoperative washing of the sinus with antiseptic solutions.
