Zusammenfassung:	A method for heat treatment of articles of rollers type from steel and cast-iron involves their mechanical regrinding to the repair size with the subsequent hard-surfacing by the laser ray in the form of alternating hardened and nonhardened tracks with prescribed minimum depth of strengthening and width of hardened track, which are made in the form of closed rings along the roll generator. In addition, hardening is carried out in the modes without surface fusing, and the hardened tracks are made in the form of a spiral line along the roll generator with the angle slope change of the track direction relatively to the roll side in transfer from its periphery to the central part depending on a character and sizes of areas, that subject to intensive treatment.
