Zusammenfassung:The proposed device for measuring melt temperature contains a cylindrical intermediate chamber with a cooling jacket, which is made of fireproof corrosion-resistant material, and a pyrometric temperature meter. The chamber is installed in a hole made in the wall of the melting furnace. The diameter of the section of the chamber to be immersed in the melt does not exceed the one-third part of the isothermic ssection of the chamber. On the side of the chamber that is opposite to the immersible section, an internal diaphragm and an external diaphragm are installed that are designed for optically coupling the immersible section of the chamber with the pyrometric temperature meter. The diameter of the lens of the pyrometric temperature meter exceeds the diameter of the diaphragms by the value that is proportional to the distance between the end of the immersible section of the chamber to the lens.
