Zusammenfassung:The method for diagnosing the degree of the severity of the lesion in the upper cervical backbone division upon the birth injury comprises the instrumental examination. X-ray examination of the cervical backbone division is performed in the direct projection. The width of the paired atlantoaxial joint is measured. When the angle between the articular surfaces C1-C2 is 5-10 DEGREE , the slight lesion of the disk is diagnosed. When the angle between the articular surfaces C1-C2 is 11-15 DEGREE the moderate lesion is evident. The angle exceeding 15 DEGREE is indicative of the severe injury.
