Zusammenfassung:	The proposed method for determining content of fats in seeds of oil plants consists in milling the seeds selected as a sample for the analysis, mixing the seed sample with nonvolatile solution, treating the sample by a centrifuge, exposing the sample to pulse optical radiation with a wavelength in a specified wavelength range, measuring the intensity of the radiation that passes through the sample, and calculating the content of fats by using the data so obtained.
