Zusammenfassung:The method for the combined plastics of the ventral hernia of the epigastral area with rigid edges of the hernial defect consists in separating and treating the hernial sac, generating the recesses in the extraperitoneal space, modeling and fixing the mesh implant, closing the surgical wound. The mesh implant is fixed extraperitoneally by U-shaped sutures in the upper part of the hernial defect up to the intercostals space and parasternally. The anterior wall of the sheath of the rectus muscle of abdomen is tailored on one side, mobilized, and the area with the mesh is covered by the mobilized aponeurosis while the mesh is separated from the subcutaneous base.
