INSTALLATION FOR SIMULATION OF PROCESSES OF OBTAINING BIMETALLIC AND MULTILAYER CASTINGS

An installation for simulation of the processes of obtaining bimetallic and multilayer castings has a running channel, which consists of a pouring basin or pouring cup, a post, a skim gate and runners. The running channel contains an interchangeable intermediate reaction chamber made of transparent material for arrangement of the additive for intra-form working of fusion, which is filled, and the second, independent from the first one, pouring-running and modifying system, in which is also provided the second interchangeable intermediate reaction chamber made of transparent material for positioning the second type addition for intra-form working of fusion, which is filled. The transparent model of casting mold is also provided, which is a flat plate or flat axial section of casting, which includes front and rear walls, made of transparent material, for example, organic or quartz glass, interchangeable lower pan, which is simultaneously the base of model, and interchangeable end walls, which simulate cooled sides of casting, design of which ensures simultaneously the supply of runners to the casting from one side at different levels on the height or from the different sides on one or of different in height.
