METHOD OF CRUSHING MATERIALS IN GRINDING MILLS

A method of crushing materials in the grinding mills, in accordance with which the crushing of materials is carried out by crushing, flattening and chafing of the particles of material due to their shift under action of forces, which cause stress in one vertical plane when the particles of material pass through the slot between the rolls. The particles of material are crushed due to simultaneous action of grinding forces upon them in vertical andhorizontal planes. In the horizontal plane in the particles of material the stresses of shear and bearing variable in module and direction are broughtabout, this is achieved by imparting oscillating motion to the rolls in the direction along the centerlines of the rolls.
