Zusammenfassung:The method for treating the recurrent and postoperative ventral hernias comprises the separation of the hernial sac and the disconnection of the adhesions between its walls and the hernial content, the mobilization of the posterior leave of the sheath of the rectus muscle of abdomen, the suturing ofthe leaves of peritoneum and the posterior leave of the sheath of the rectus muscle of abdomen, the fixation of the prosthesis for the reinforcement of the area of the hernial defect. The longitudinal incisions in the prosthesis are made according to every area of the cicatricial adhesion between the muscles and the aponeurosis. The prosthesis is placed over and beneath rectus muscles of abdomen according to the cicatricial alterations of the muscles and the direction of the blood vessels. Then the prosthesis is fixed to anterior or posterior leave of aponeurosis throughout the perimeter of the prosthesis.
