Zusammenfassung:The method for the combined hernioplasty in great ventral hernias of the lower parts of the anterior abdominal wall comprises the separation and the treatment of the hernial sac, the mobilization of the sheaths of rectus muscles and external oblique muscle of abdomen, the dissection of aponeurosis of the external muscle along the spigelian line from hypogastrium to the costal arc, the mobilization of the external oblique muscle to the posterior inguinal line, the medial transposition of the sheaths of rectus muscle, and the closure of the hernial defect with the aid of the synthetic prosthesis.
