HEAT AND MOISTURE EXCHANGER OF ISOLATING SELF-RESCUER CONTAINING CHEMICALLY BOUND OXYGEN

A heat and moisture exchanger of the isolating self-rescuer containing the chemically bound oxygen comprises a case with a cover and pipes connecting to the facial part of the self-rescuer and a regenerative cartridge, a plug made of gas-permeable material located in the case between the perforated partitions generating the cavities with the end-faces of the case and the cover and connecting with the cavities of the pipes. To improve the performance of the heat and moisture exchanger, the partitions are made of non-flat elements consisting of the wire gauze nets adjacent to the ribs of varying height in the internal surfaces of the end-faces of the case and the cover. The plug is made of the woven-wire net folded as a reel and placed within the case in such a way that the axis of the reel aligns to the axis of the case and its outer surface is adjacent to the internal surface of the case.
