Zusammenfassung:The method for predicting the "break of mold" casting defects comprises the assessment of bulk density, average density, maximal density, and optimal density of the mixture in the mold and the density of the mixture in the area adjoining the pattern region. One predictive hypothesis is analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, separately from other hypotheses. The probability of the hypothesis is estimated up to 100% of probability. The attributes pertinent to the predictive hypothesis including partial ones, i.e. attributes pertinent only to the part of the hypothesis are accounted for. The attributes that are not pertinent to the predictive hypothesis are not taken into account.
