Zusammenfassung: | The present invention can be used in medicine, ecology, balneology, cosmetology, agriculture, epidemiology and other fields for monitoring solar ultraviolet radiation that has specific biological activity in synthesizing vitamin D also known as antirachitic activity. The proposed method for measuring a dose of biologically active ultraviolet radiation consists in that the steroid molecules that are capable to transformation under action of solar ultraviolet radiation are exposed to the monitored ultraviolet radiation. The steroid molecules are inserted in liquid-crystal matrix having at least one optical parameter that changes due to the transformation of the steroid molecules under the action of the ultraviolet radiation. The dose of the biologically active ultraviolet radiation is determined by the change of the said parameter. |
