Zusammenfassung:	The proposed device for measuring the rod stroke of a brake chamber of a vehicle is installed in a casing that is fixed to the bracket of the brake chamber. The device contains a displacement transducer for the rod and a measuring unit with a microprocessor. As the displacement transducer, a multiturn potentiometer is used that is coupled with the rod via a gear, which is installed at the shaft of the potentiometer, and a rack, which is provided at a sleeve that is fixed to the rod by a spring-loaded pin. The terminals of the potentiometer are connected to the corresponding inputs of the measuring unit.
