Zusammenfassung:The method for treating the acute odontogenous periostitis of the jaw comprises opening the inflammation focus by two incisions followed by the separation of the bridge-like flap and insertion of the drainage beneath the flap. Two non-parallel incisions of the mucosa and the periosteum are performed in the vestibular surface of the alveolar process according to the course of the blood vessels and nerve branches. The dumb-bell shaped drainage is passed horizontally under the bridge-like flap.
