At least four identical working sonotrodes (waveguides) of the rod shape are placed in the corners on the emission surface (output end surface) of the basic sonotrode (waveguide). Комбінований сонотрод (хвилевід) для ультразвукового зварювання полімерів складається з базового сонотрода, форма якого наближена до прямокутного паралелепіпеда, із пазами. На випромінюючій поверхні (вихідній торцевій поверхні) базового сонотрода (хвилеводу) в кутах розміщено щонайменше чотири однакових робочих сонотроди (хвилеводи) стрижневої форми.
