Zusammenfassung:The proposed method for processing radioactive waste consists in oxidizing the organic components of the waste to form gaseous product, transforming the mineral ion components into suspended metal hydroxides by treating the waste with ozone. The oxidized waste is divided into condensed slime and liquid by filtration. By a membrane microfilter, radionuclides in colloidal form are isolated from the liquid. These radionuclides are returned to the waste treated with ozone. The liquid is finally purified by selective sorbents. The slime produced and the used sorbents are transformed into solid waste and stored for long period. Before the treatment with ozone, the waste is purified from suspended particles by a screen filter. The ozone treatment is accomplished in a circulation mode.
